Style Meets Comfort With Po-Zu Shoes

London footwear brand Po-Zu combines supreme comfort with strictly ethical & sustainable manufacturing processes. When Po-Zu sent me a pair of their off-white logo sneakers, I decided to style them up with a couple of other new ethical fashion finds and take them for a spin.

Po-Zu (which roughly translates to 'pause' in Japanese) follows with the slogan 'Shoes with a good sole', which is very apt because not only is the literal sole of these trainers the most comfortable thing I have ever walked in, but the brand takes ethics and sustainability seriously, as a vital part of their ethos and values, which obviously lights my nerdy little fashion soul on fire.

From celebrating traditional craftsmanship in Sri Lanka and Portugal and developing non-toxic vegan leather, to manufacturing with organic cotton in renewable energy-powered factories with fairtrade wages and strict recycling policies; I am absolutely thrilled to have discovered this sustainable shoe brand! I wear so many shitty, cheap, uncomfortable shoes that I had forgotten what truly dreamy shoes feel like, and these trainers feature a coconut husk 'foot-mattress' which cushions your feet so effortless it barely feels like concrete beneath your feet, it feels like clouds (no exaggeration, seriously).

So I decided to stick with the easy and comfy theme for the rest of the outfit, styling the simple white trainers with my new extreme wide leg trousers which I picked up from my new favourite London boutique, ethical fashion store 69B. The brand is Kings of Indigo, and they are 100% linen; I AM IN LOVE! Also, I can't stop buying funky trousers, please send help to this addict. FInally, I wore another new purchase, a logo embroidered tee by my current favourite Scottish fashion designer Ellie Vallely aka Squint Clothing, which I picked up at last weekend's Custom Lane pop-up shop.
