My name is Ruth and I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga and helping people of all experience levels to find a regular practice that works for them. I am a RYT200 and RPYT certified teacher with 10 years of experience practicing yoga. Building upon the solid foundations of traditional Hatha Yoga, my style of teaching blends energising flows and challenging postures with plenty of restorative stretches, pranayama techniques and deep relaxation, with the goal of helping you connect with your body and mind.
I teach a combination of vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga styles regularly at venues including OMH Therapies, Portobello Swim Centre, Yoga’s Got Hot, Glenogle Swim Centre, East Side Yoga, David Lloyd Newhaven Harbour and Lila Yoga. These classes are mostly suitable for all levels of practice, and all equipment is provided.
I also have teaching certifications in Pre-Natal, Post-Natal and Mum & Baby Yoga, and I offer dedicated Yoga for Pregnancy classes at East Side Yoga and Yoga’s Got Hot.
I also provide corporate yoga classes as well as private yoga sessions to clients looking for 1:1 or 1:2 support to develop their practice, from absolute beginner to advanced practitioner.
