My name is Ruth and I’m passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga and helping people of all experience levels to find a regular practice that works for them. I am a RYT200 certified teacher with 10 years of experience practicing yoga. Building upon the solid foundations of traditional Hatha Yoga, my style of teaching blends energising flows and challenging postures with plenty of restorative stretches, pranayama techniques and deep relaxation, with the goal of helping you connect with your body and mind.

I teach a combination of vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga styles regularly at OMH Therapies in Edinburgh West End, Portobello Swim Centre and Glenogle Swim Centre, East Side Yoga on Broughton Street , David Lloyd at Newhaven Harbour, and Queer Yoga Edinburgh at Lila Yoga in Bruntsfield. These classes are suitable for all levels, and all equipment is provided.

I have teaching certifications in Pre-Natal, Post-Natal and Mum & Baby Yoga, and now offer dedicated Yoga for Pregnancy classes at East Side Yoga and Yoga’s Got Hot.

I also provide private yoga sessions to clients looking for 1:1 support to develop their practice, from absolute beginner to advanced practitioner.
