Vintage Heaven at Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair
This Saturday, Judy's Affordable Vintage Fair came to the beautiful Edinburgh Assembly Rooms, and jam packed it with stalls full of vintage and reworked fashion, as well as gorgeous jewellery and a retro make-up and hair service!
I regularly work for Judy's as a promoter, but this time I just shopped to my heart's delight!

I heard from my two favourite girl bosses Emily and Becc that the turnout all day had been amazing. One of the great things about this fair was all the offers, sales and discounts.
Who doesn't love a good bargain?
Fashionistas always enjoy the Assembly rooms as a venue too, with its grand halls, amazing ceilings and general feeling of class and sophistication.
I obsessed over the intricate vintage gems laid beautifully across the trader's tables. There were so many stunning brooches, rings, necklaces and earrings to choose from. I particularly love the huge, over the top gemstone knuckle duster rings!
I can't remember the last time I truly enjoyed a shopping experience so much, I was like a kid in a sweetie store! Judy's Vintage Fairs are the best in the UK, hands down.
Usually I adore everything from
Tallula Vintage
, but this time I was looking for some more sports-luxe pieces, which I found plenty of at
Ginger Nut Vintage
, and came home with a retro Ralph Lauren polo shirt and a black and white Adidas track jacket.
But above all, the most memorable designs were from
Thrifty Little
. Think skirts and dresses up cycled from fabric adorned with Powerpuff Girls, Barbies and Toy Story Characters.
Now, on a slightly darker note, I always hit a bit of a dilemma when shopping from vintage or charity stores in terms of ethics. I want to ask you, lovely readers, if you would buy real fur, suede or leather if it was second hand?A head scratcher! Anyway, hope to see you all at the next vintage fair!
